Targeting tryptophan catabolism pathways to treat cancer

A large part of the immune-oncology sector has targeted T cell inhibitory receptors, such as PD-1 or CTLA-4; however there is significant interest in modulating pathways that directly impact both tumour and immune cells. One of the most promising targets in this field is indoleamine-2, 3-dioxygenase, or IDO.
